Bracken & Twine Flowers

A few months ago I saw an Instagram story from Bracken & Twine asking for help and advice on photographing her floristry.

I got in touch and asked if she would like to collaborate, the answer was a yes which I was super happy about.

Bracken & Twine Flowers is based at Katy (owner) home, her workshop just smelt gorgeous full to the brim of the most beautiful flowers so many different colours and types.

The workshop itself is a vintage dream, with dried flowers and flower prints on the walls, ribbons and the sweetest little trinkets and wooden boxes that were Katy’s Nannys.

Katy was preparing for a wedding and made the most beautiful artistic bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements. The care and time put in to the preparation and the making of these really is amazing.

Here are some of my favourites (it was so difficult to choose)

Oxnead Hall

A couple of months ago I visited Oxnead Hall for the first time, but as a guest, I was asked by my friends if I could bring my camera along.

This was great, as I got shots from a on lookers perspective as I wasn’t the main photographer, this is totally my style as it really echoes my photo journalistic ethos and style.

The ceremony was held in the church that sits within the grounds of Oxnead hall followed by a drinks reception hosted by the wonderful staff from Unique Norfolk Venues and Reception was held within the barn at Oxnead Hall, part of Unique Norfolk Venues.

The church and reception was a floral dream with beautiful floristry from myrtle & Moss, which were also incorporated within the Centre pieces which were made by the groom.

Thankyou for letting me capture just a small part of your day, when I am asked to capture all or some of someone’s big day I do a little happy dance, it really does mean so much to me.
