Josh & Skylar

I met Josh & Skylar along with their Mummy at Whitlingham Lake on a sunny September Saturday morning for their Photoshoot.

When we first met Josh said he was a bit nervous to have his photo taken, but his nerves soon disappeared, as he was telling me about when he comes to the boating lake at Whitlingham, today we would be staying out of the water.

We found a lovely sunny spot for some photos, my favourite moment was when Josh put Skylar on his shoulders, which are some of my favourite photos from the shoot, their personalities really show in these photos, full of fun and happiness.

We also walked by the river, luckily not meeting to many angry swans, thankfully any we did meet Josh scared them away for us. The light was slightly darker in this area, which was nice to contrast the previous images.

What I loved most about this shoot was, there was so many gorgeous in between moments, between the two children and their mum picking them up for a kiss or cuddle, I love it when the parents get involved as well.

A few weeks ago now, I met Jensen and his Mummy at Waterloo Park for Jensen's photoshoot.

I hadn't been to Waterloo park since I was a child, so my memory of it was a little hazy, as well as the play park with the water splash area which is perfect for the little ones, there's the beautiful garden area's to walk around, this particular day was beautifully sunny, the perfect day for a stroll around the park.

We walked around the gardens first, under the veranda, Jensen liked to call it the train track, we said the maybe the train was on its holidays that day, as it was a little high up for a train, (I love the imagination of children), up the steps, into the bandstand, carefully avoiding the water that surrounds it. Jensen had brought along a rock he had decorated as part of the Norfolk Rocks Challenge, so we found a place to hide it along the way too.

We then walked along the path to the play park and water splash area, both sides of the path lots of gorgeous flowers growing up against the walls.

Jensen had a play with the flowers, looking at all the different colours, but especially liked the very tall yellow ones.

We then got to the park, Jensen's favourite bit of the day, he went straight to the boat, climbing to the top, as he was Captain! He then found the climbing frame with the slide and then the swings, although a little big for the swings he had the biggest grin on his face as his mummy was pushing him on them, especially when we said CAAAKE, as we learnt this is the way to make him smile without fail!

Here's a few of my favourites of this gorgeous cheeky little boy.

Colchester Zoo

Back in August, I went on a trip to Colchester Zoo, to take my brother to his Zoo Experience to feed the orangutan's, as part of his 21st birthday celebrations, it was a real bucket list achievement for my brother so it was great to be there.

My brother got to give the Orangutan his food, water (from a watering can) and also his medication, lots of people were watching and thought his was the vet which was quite amusing!

Whilst we were there along with my Auntie and Little Cousin, who was our navigator for the day, making sure we didn't miss an animal, I took the opportunity to bring my camera along to photograph some of the animals I saw on the day.

So here's a few of my favourites from the day;
